Operational Safety Precautions

Use the AM-275 only as directed by trained personnel and with compatible non-metallic container systems.

Critical: Non-metallic containers only

Never operate on metal containers or caps with exterior metal shells. An induction field can create arcing, fire, or equipment damage.

Caution: Cooling & high-frequency exposure

Keep vents clear. Avoid contact with the head during operation and allow cooling between high-duty cycles. Follow manufacturer guidance for medical implants.

Comprehensive manual

Standard Operating Manual

Apply this pre-operation and quality-control checklist at every AM-275 installation and production start-up.

Unpacking & pre-operation

Commission the equipment in a dry, stable, serviceable work area.

  • Place on a level, heat-resistant workbench.
  • Verify line voltage matches equipment rating.
  • Keep at least 15 cm of clearance around cooling vents.
  • Seat the sealing wand firmly in the output connector.
  • Reset the digital seal counter before production.

Quality control & verification

Confirm seal integrity before releasing a production run.

  • Invert and squeeze the sample container to check for leakage.
  • Unscrew the cap to inspect polymer bonding.
  • Check for scorching caused by excess energy.
  • Check closure edges for incomplete adhesion.
  • Document approved batch parameters in production records.

HMI Touchscreen Firmware Flashing Guide

Follow these 5 verified steps to update the AM-275 Smart Seal Touchscreen HMI using an SD/SDHC card. Illustrated directly from factory service footage.

AM-275 Main Rotary Power Disconnect Switch STEP 01
01 / POWER ISOLATION

Power Down the Machine Completely

Locate the main yellow/red rotary disconnect switch on the AM-275 side column. Rotate the switch to the OFF (0) position and verify the touchscreen is no longer powered before accessing the HMI controller.

Service Note: The illustrated sequence begins with the main rotary disconnect in the 0 (OFF) position. Exact narrated safety guidance will be added after the video audio is transcribed.
HMI PCB rear view showing micro SD card slot STEP 02
02 / SD CARD INSERTION

Insert FAT32 SD Card into HMI Rear Slot

Access the rear of the Smart Seal touchscreen panel. Locate the onboard SD / SDHC slot, shown beside the ribbon connector and piezo beeper. Insert the prepared firmware SD card firmly into the slot.

Service Note: The screen controller identifies this port as SD / SDHC. The final card format, file name, and folder-path requirements will be confirmed from the narration.
AM-275 front panel powering on into blue bootloader screen STEP 03
03 / POWER ON & BOOTLOADER INITIALIZATION

Switch Main Power ON to Trigger Flashing

Rotate the main rotary disconnect switch back to the ON (I) position. The AM-275 Smart Seal Touchscreen powers up into the bright blue DGUS process screen shown here and begins reading the SD card.

Visual Checkpoint: A blue DGUS process screen should appear after power is restored. Keep the machine powered during the update sequence.
DGUS2 bootloader download progress showing CFG, CODE, and BIN files STEP 04
04 / FILE TRANSFER & CHECKSUM

Monitor On-Screen Download Progress

The bootloader screen displays the controller kernel version (T5L2 DGUS2 V6.5) and sequential download counters for:
โ€ข .CFG FILES (Display configurations)
โ€ข .BIN / .DZK FILES (Fonts, graphics, and system binaries)
โ€ข .ICL FILES (UI icon and screen image libraries)
Allow all packages to transfer until the progress counter reaches completion.

Visual Checkpoint: The process screen lists file types and progress counters, including .CFG, .CODE, .BIN, .DZK, and .ICL. Do not interrupt the process while counters are updating.
SD CARD PROCESS END ! message confirming flash success STEP 05
05 / COMPLETION & SD CARD REMOVAL

Confirm "SD CARD PROCESS ... END !" & Remove Card

When the screen shows SD CARD PROCESS ... END ! and the displayed FLASH CRC32 CHECK is complete, the visible update cycle has finished. Power the machine OFF, remove the SD card, then power it back ON for a normal HMI startup.

Visual Checkpoint: Remove the card after completion and before normal operation. Final narrated confirmation criteria will be added when the video audio is available.

๐Ÿ“น Video Walkthrough Integration (Part 1 & Part 2)

Staged for the primary walkthrough video (Part 1 - long overview) and quick-flash clip (Part 2 - short summary). A dedicated Power Board flashing guide will be appended beneath once the second demonstration video is uploaded.

Diagnostic guide

Troubleshooting Common Faults

Use the likely causes and immediate corrective actions below to return your line to a valid seal condition.

Foil liner does not adhere to bottle rim
Likely cause: insufficient time/power, loose cap, or reversed liner. Action: increase time in 0.2 second increments and confirm cap torque / liner orientation.
Liner burns, melts through, or smokes
Likely cause: time or power exceeds application need. Action: reduce time by 0.3 seconds; after cooling, inspect the head for residue.
Seal is incomplete on one side
Likely cause: tilted head, off-center placement, or uneven container lip. Action: hold the head level and centered; verify container geometry.
Over-temperature alert or error buzzer
Likely cause: duty-cycle heat load or blocked airflow. Action: idle the unit with fan running for 10โ€“15 minutes and clear ventilation paths.
Preventative care

Routine Maintenance & Storage

Protect long-term reliability with basic inspection, cleaning, and ventilation care.

Daily maintenance

  • Disconnect power before exterior cleaning.
  • Inspect sealing head for residue or melted material.
  • Inspect cord and trigger cable for wear.

Monthly inspection

  • Clear dust from fan vents using dry compressed air.
  • Inspect wand connector pins for oxidation or loose seating.
  • Verify time display against a reference stopwatch.
